You have been married almost five years. You are a stay at home Mom with two children so far. Your husband brings home a second wife. You should:

Immediately file for divorce.

or

Welcome her in as part of the family.

If you answered with divorce, you are a full Feminist.

If you answered with welcoming, you are a good Christian wife who has finally had all the house chores greatly reduced. You also know you are secure as your husband is not going to disappear one day. He has liked being married to you so much that he wants more.

In the Greek:

1 Corinthians 7:2
"Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own (exclusive) wife, and let each woman have her own (shared) husband."

The bible does not just "allow" Patriarchal marriage. It is fully supported and sometimes even commanded. The number of marriages a man has is fully dependent upon his ability to support, protect and raise up to God another generation of children to Him. This is the entire goal of marriage. It is not to give a woman a place to be a queen of her domain with an obedient husband.

So where does that leave us. That puts us in between, perhaps, a rock and a hard place? Not really. This idea may not be the only answer, however I think it makes more sense than YHVH beginning civilization with no other way to go than commit the sin of incest.

This is a hard truth for those who prefer man's ways. Many Preachers lack backbone. The full Gospel of Christ is not going to change the world by selectively ignoring parts of it.
